Carbon Offset Trees  |  $10 individual participant, $45 team relay
Driving to the Wyoming border, across Nebraska, and back to your home- or taking a flight to do the same thing- has a real impact on our environment. We are working with the Arbor Day Foundation (founded in Nebraska) to ensure you can offset your carbon emissions by donating trees to be planted in Nebraska. The trees you donate will be sent to farmers, ranchers, and/or communities along the race route to be planted and cared for. We will work with the Arbor Day Foundation to ensure the types of trees sent are correct for the climate and soil in the area they are being sent to. If you meet someone along the race that you would like to donate your trees to, be sure to get their name, address and phone number. You can also have the trees sent to yourself for planting on your own land. The $10 fee donates a mixed set of 10 seedlings (6-12" tall) and the $45 fee donates 50 seedlings. 

Individual Finisher's Letter Jacket |  $350.00 each (purchased at race finish)
These bad-ass jackets are only available to individuals who finish the entire 500 miles on their own, in the event time limit. An old-school red and white wool/leather letter jacket, featuring the letter N on the front left chest and your name embroidered on the front right chest. A chevron on the shoulder will be added for each year completing the race, along with the time to complete the race under your name if desired. You will get an additional N if you complete BOTH the individual run and cycle within your lifetime. The RAN logo on the back of the jacket. Jacket will be made and mailed following the race, arriving in time for winter.

Individual Finisher's Buckle |  $50.00 each (purchased at race finish)
Only available to those who finish the entire course, individually, within the course time limit. A gold and silver type buckle (not real gold or silver) with your name, race dates, and time engraved on the back and mailed to you. 

Refunds - Transfers - Team Makeup - Cancellation 

Refunds:
Prior to Jan 1st, 2016 we will refund 75% of your entry fee (not including online registration fees)
Prior to Apr 1st, 2016 we will refund 50% of your entry fee (not including online registration fees)
Prior to Jun 1st, 2016 we will refund 25% of your entry fee (not including online registration fees)
No refunds after June 1st, 2016.

​Transfers:
In NO case will we transfer your entry to another runner or cyclist. We also will NOT roll your entry to 2017. Individuals may not switch from running to cycling or cycling to running if the race you want to enter is already sold out. Pioneers will have pay normal entry fees if the Pioneer entries are sold out in the desired category you would like to switch to. Teams may NOT switch categories once registered.

Team Makeup:
Only the team name and captain must be registered to secure an entry. At the race briefing we will require a complete list of your team members and a waiver signed individually by each team member. Teams can be any mix of genders and/or ages.

​Cancellation:
If the event is cancelled due to natural disaster, terrorist activities, the fatality of a race participant or other circumstance outside of the control of the race, no refunds will be given.
If the event is cancelled due to an item under the control of race management, we will make every effort to refund money and/or deliver items purchased, but this is not guaranteed.
